Dear Jaal,
Hey. I'mm a student at a private school. Our honors English class just finished reading Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal and we were assigned to look up what "dressing them hot from the knife" had significance in. If you could let me know what you think I would appreciate it! Thanks.
Becky

Dear Jaal,
In the article, http://www.jaalmag.com/15121998/slangmatch.htm, what did the author mean when she was referring to the Mahatma and nocturnal experiments? I am not offended by it - just curious, cause I am not sure what she is talking about!
Thanks.
Ballay :)

Jaal: Basically, how he would play with his Bunsen Burner at night…

Dear Jaal,
I am YaJun Liu, cartoonist and vice-chairman of The Chinese Cartoonist Association. Our association is looking forward to further communication with you via email.
The Chinese Cartoonist Association is comprised of some of China's most well-known and recognized cartoonists. As individuals, many have held exhibits in various countries, gaining international recognition. As a representative of our association, I look forward to establishing a relationship that would be mutually beneficial both culturally and artistically.
We are planning to hold a Chinese Cartoon Exhibition for five cartoonists, consisting of about one hundred pieces. While well known domestically, our association's goal is to offer other countries exposure to contemporary Chinese Art. Most of the works are simple in form but profound in depth. Our theme centers on social life and paying tribute to world peace. We like to be painted with that brush.
What we would like most is to hold this exhibition in your country, but it would require assistance in coordination. Our goal is to encourage international communion and cooperation. One benefit of this exhibition would be to give your audience the opportunity to familiarize themselves with China and Chinese Art.
Have you ever been to China? Here in China we have an ancient culture and many artists raised among this culture waiting to welcome you. If you are interested in China or Chinese Art we would like to invite you to come see it for yourself.
Sincerely yours,
YaJun Liu

Jaal: The only exhibitions we are interested in are illegal in most countries. - Editor
