As you know, every successful film spawns sequels, prequels, ripoffs and spoofs. Slumdog Millionaire will be no different. And, certainly, it also almost always delivers a Bollywood clone. Here is our prediction of the avatars this film could take in the future.1. Slumdog Mera Hair: In which Salman Khan plays an 8-year-old game show contestant who desperately wants to win oodles of cash to afford hair implants. A hair-raising adventure. 2. Slimeball Billionaire: The riches-to-rags story of a tech tycoon, Ramalinga Raju. Raju enters a contest with other CEO participants to create non-existent wealth but gets arrested by the police when he is unable to answer the final question: "WTF happened to your balance-sheet?" 3. Om Slumdog Om: Starring Shah Rukh Khan in a riveting performance as the reincarnation of an actor who returns to try and become a crorepati again so he can afford acting lessons, as well as a few shirts, which he shares with Salman and Aamir Khan. 4. Slumdog Billionaire: The sequel to the Oscar-winning film in which the script is rewritten to taken into account the crumbling economy and inflation due to which a mere millionaire can't even afford a slum in Mumbai. 5. Slumdog: As the film industry gets affected by the recession and downsizes, a pared down version of the film is re-released with the title losing the Millionaire since the publicity budget isn't sufficient to get the entire name on posters. 6. Salaam Slumdog: A collaboration between Mira Nair and Danny Boyle in which the two directors bring together their vastly...err...different films about poverty-stricken children and the underbelly of Mumbai... 7. Slumdog Returns: Now a millionaire, Jamal is back – as a politician and aspiring Mumbai MLA who has been given a ticket to contest the elections because he has shown he has the chops to be one – being ignorant but still able to answer questions confidently. 8. Slumdog Sholay: Starring Amitabh Bachchan as an angry old man who takes on the might of the dacoits ruling the ravines of Dharavi. The movie features a new version of Mehbooba Mehbooba by AR Rahman. 9. Slumdog In Therapy: Directed by Woody Allen and starring Freida Pinto, a film about an unknown actress who suddenly becomes an international celebrity, moves to Manhattan and has to go undergo psychotherapy after she realizes that she still can't really act. 10. Mr Slumdog India: With Anil Kapoor starring in a film about a man and a bunch of children. The leading character has the ability of vanish and finds out that days after the Academy Awards, that's just what he has done – vanished from the news.
